Meg Rubino, Owner
Margaret (Meg) Rubino is the Owner and Founder of Dutchess Cannabis. Prior to opening Dutchess, Meg established a career as an attorney and she continues to practice in the area of domestic relations. Given Meg’s legal background, she brings a unique perspective on how to change the outdated mindset surrounding the prohibition of marijuana and is passionate about education regarding the responsible use of cannabis. She aims to redefine the retail cannabis experience with unparalleled product selection and impeccable service to ensure everyone feels welcome. Meg looks forward to bringing a new brand of wellness to Illinois, and beyond, with Dutchess.
Alexis Bigi-Prow, VP of Operations
Alexis Bigi-Prow is the VP of Operations for Dutchess Cannabis. She brings to the table 20 years of multi-unit retail experience and a passion for team development and customer experience. Since starting in the cannabis in 2021, Alexis has enjoyed the fast pace of the industry, the ever-developing new products, and the customers and people she has gotten to work with. Alexis believes in developing the store team so they can provide an excellent customer experience to everyone, Whether they are a 1st time user or a cannasseur, the goal is to ensure every customer feels welcome and supported. It starts with ensuring the teams are educated about the products we sell so they can connect customers with products that fit their personal needs. Alexis loves working side by side with customers and the store teams and employs a hands-on approach to leadership. It’s important to know what our employees do day in and day out and what our customers experience while shopping in our stores and she believes the only way to improve the process and the experience for everyone is to be in stores and experience it firsthand. This immersive approach aligns with continuous improvement, ensuring that Dutchess Cannabis evolves in ways that benefit both the team and the customers.
Wren Berger, Director of Purchasing
Wren Berger is the Director of Purchasing for Dutchess Cannabis. Previously a data analyst, Wren has been in the cannabis industry for 10+ years and is thrilled to see how far the market has come in providing safe access to the therapeutic benefits of cannabis.
Wren’s passionate about discovering new and exciting products, building partnerships with vendors, and analyzing data to understand the Dutchess customer’s needs and wants. From first-time users to seasoned cannaseurs, Wren strives to make sure there is something for everyone on our menu and at competitive prices.
Courtney Rybicki, Director of Operations
Courtney is the Director of Operations of Dutchess Cannabis. Since joining the cannabis industry in 2021 Courtney has been on a mission to identify and provide ways of improving the shopping process and increase efficiency while providing exceptional services. Courtney is a passionate hands-on leader who enjoys learning and identifying new, creative ways to optimize processes and organizational efficiencies with the purpose of delivering continued operational excellence to our customers. No matter what shopping experience is preferred, Courtney is determined to ensure customers have a flawless experience that is tailored to their needs when they visit a Dutchess location.
